WELLINGTON VILLAGE WALKABOUT FEAST
Join us for a not-to-be-missed dining experience as we tour around Wellington Village, eating dinner as we go! Our well-loved Walkabout Feast format is back, and this time it's taking over trendy Wellington Village, as we spend a lovely spring evening dining at hot spots including the Wellington Gastropub, the Urban Element, Absinthe, Allium, and Thyme & Again. With a Groovy Grapes Sommelier as your guide, you will eat each course of your wine-paired meal at a different location, strolling and enjoying spring in the Village. Includes 5 courses, 5 wines, and education and entertainment from chefs and sommeliers throughout the evening.

Time: 5:30 to 10:00 p.m.
Location: Thyme and Again Creative Catering, 1255 Wellington Street West
Cost: $150.00 (including taxes and gratuity, 5 different venues, 5 courses, 5 wines, guide and a lot of fun.)
How it works: All participants meet up at our reception location in Wellington Village - Thyme and Again Creative Catering. There we will enjoy a glass of bubbly and some canapés while we wait for everyone to arrive. At about 6:15 p.m. we'll break up into three smaller groups, each of which will be hosted by a Groovy Grapes Sommelier. At 6:30 p.m. we head out into the Village, each group starting at a different restaurant - the Wellington Gastropub, Absinthe, and Allium. Throughout the evening, each group will visit each restaurant and enjoy a course with a specially selected wine pairing. At the end of the evening, we all meet up again at The Urban Element to enjoy dessert and coffee.
Please remember:
· This event takes place rain or shine so please dress appropriately and ladies - please leave the stilettos at home - comfortable footwear is essential!
· This dining experience offers a set menu with wine pairings - please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.
· If you would like to dine with friends who have registered for this event separately, please let us know in advance so we can arrange for you to be in the same dining group.

-rare seared with marinated local asparagus, tomatoes and lemon, cilantro spiked goat’s cheese, sweet strawberry vinegar

Groovy Grapes puts a fun spin on traditional wine events for the modern wine drinker and the non-wine drinker alike.
Groovy Grapes was established in November 2003 with a simple mission: make the topic of wine fun. The idea was to take wine education out of the classroom, make it entertaining, and bring it to places where people are relaxed and enjoying themselves: at home, clubs, restaurants, or at the cottage.
